While the quick growth and original activity of this site has tapered off, and at times it had been left relatively neglected, it hasn't been completely forgotten about.

Starting now, the website remains visible on accessible on all original networks (Clearnet, Tor, I2P, Yggdrasil) however to curb ***** and to shift its focus and intent, only the I2P network can be used to login, submit posts, and interact with shared content. This move is to help make the site more sane to manage and moderate and also to help promote the anonymity network that we have the most faith in.

You'll still be able to access and browse the site from the network of your choice, but I2P will be required to participate. Additionally, there is some additional help on board from the I2P and I2P+ communities. You may see /u/z3d, /u/idk and /u/R_N around, names you may be familiar with already if you're active in the I2P community. Together we should be able to whip this place into shape and maintain it.

A step in the right direction. I2P is a great network.

It really is. Hopefully this may encourage some new users to check out I2P. I guess a easy-to-follow newb's guide to connecting to I2P may be in order eventually.

I'll probably still post from the clearnet site only, but it's good to see that this site is not abandoned.

Clearnet posting wont' work, it's only available over I2P, or should be. All networks are read-only besides I2p.

But I'm posting from the clearnet site Ramble.pw right now. Is this not going to be the case in the future?

If you had an old login cookie in your browser cache, you'll probably still be able to post from the clearnet or .torify.net site for as long as that cookie persists and is valid, or until we proactively invalidate or otherwise neuter non-i2p cookies.

However, it shouldn't be possible to login or signup from anywhere other than ramble.i2p. This is by design to minimize ***** and the concomitant moderation workload, and to encourage I2P adoption.
